Philosophy

 

My goal is to offer a safe place to learn and grow by helping children to further develop their sense of self-value, confidence, imagination, the love of learning, and the feeling of being accepted for who they are. The climate at HWG is aimed at the development of the whole child. I believe that children are more successful when they can play and learn in a positive environment where respect, kindness, compassion, and having fun are the usual way. My favorite part of teaching is reflecting back to the children their unique qualities that make them so special.
